In the UK, nearly 1 million people have diabetes but are unaware of it. Unsure if you’re one of them? Now’s the time to find out - and think about lifestyle changes in time to protect your health. Book your FREE 5-minute appointment now and we'll see you at Budleigh Salterton Public Hall on Sunday 2 June, 10am - 4pm. There are 6 slots available every quarter of an hour throughout the event, so you can choose a time that suits you. You can also walk in and book an appointment on the day if there's availability.
The pin prick tests will be done by a medical team from EMATS, the EVENT MEDICAL, AMBULANCE and TRAINING SERVICES GROUP who will also be able to give advice.

The test measures the blood sugar level and is best carried out TWO HOURS after eating.

Children can also be tested, if accompanied by a parent or guardian, following consultation with a medic.
