Litter Picking

A number of the Budleigh Salterton Lions Club and their family members enjoy going out and doing some litter picking or a beach clean. We have a nice chat, it's good exercise and we're sure it's good for your wellbeing!

Where do we litter pick?

Lions pick wherever it is required provided that it is so to do so. We have picked across Budleigh Salterton, East Budleigh, Otterton and Exmouth.

What gets picked up?

In addition to general paper and plastic litter we find:

  • Discarded face masks

  • Disposable gloves

  • Soiled disposable baby nappies

  • Bags of dog waste

  • Countless nails from burnt firewood
